How does your child measure up with other students their age? Are they ready for the next grade? Is there a skill that is challenging or frustrating for them? 

In this ongoing one-day a week class, you will give me a specific area to work on, or I can assess with common assessment tools to find areas of weakness. I will gently and patiently work with your child to become confident in this skill with games and challenges. Working one on one will allow me to cater to your child’s learning style and strengths. Through the class, we will begin to build a relationship of encouragement and trust which will lead to openness to learning and building self-esteem! I will use fun strategies to address the chosen skill. Isn’t it exciting to hear your child say with pride “Look what I can do?”

*Day 1 - We will visit and learn a little about each other, then we will get to work! You will need to choose one skill in one subject area to begin with, so we do not choose something too broad to cover in our short period of time. We will learn with songs, games, projects, and speed races - there are so many ways to have fun learning! The lessons will be created specifically for your child’s ability and personality! I will follow up with my observations and suggestions on how to continue learning in this area.  

And guess what?? You can take this class multiple times, for any area you want extra practice in. Each set of classes will be unique and adapted just for you! I ask that you schedule the class at least a day before so I have time to prep for your specific needs. I offer this class in a 1 day, 2 day, 3 day, 4 day, or ongoing format.
