In this one hour course, students and the instructor will begin by reviewing similes, metaphors, personification, and hyperboles through definitions and examples. In this fun and fast-paced class, students will then play a quiz bowl type event, where examples of the different figurative language studied in this course will be given and learners will be able to name what type of figurative language it is and specifically what language in the example makes it that particular type of figurative...
Students will improve their understanding of similes, metaphors, personification, and hyperbole and to not only recognize what type of figurative language the example is but also what it is in the example specifically that makes it that type of figurative language.
An attachment will be sent to an email a few days before the day your learner is in the course and you will be asked to please print it so the learner can bring it to the class.
