五年級數學技能暑期複習

In this ongoing fifth grade math summer review course, students will review important math standards while building their confidence in math as they work toward mastery of the Common Core State Standards. 

Each week, we will review a specific fifth grade math concept. We will practice the skill using various resources including engaging booklets, interactive notes, and games. 

There will also be a heavier priority put on practicing skills with word problems, as we work to expand fifth grade knowledge and apply it to real world situations. 

Students will be guided through the practice problems, but there will be opportunities for them to try the skill on their own both during and after class. 

**Have you been with me in my ongoing fifth grade math class this year?! This class is perfect for both new and old students. While the concepts taught will come from the same standards, we will practice in a brand new way!** 


Students may join this class AT ANY TIME. 

Week 1 (June 3): Adding and Subtracting Decimals 
Week 2 (June 10): Multiplying Decimals & Dividing Decimals 
Week 3 (June 17): Adding and Subtracting Fractions with Like and Unlike Denominators 
Week 4 (June 24): Multiplying and Dividing Fractions 
Week 5 (July 1): Plotting Points on a Coordinate Grid
Week 6 (July 8): Exponents & Order of Operations 
Week 7 (July 15):  Algebraic Expressions and Equations 
Week 8 (July 22): Customary Measurement Skills 
Week 9 (July 29): No Class 
Week 10 (August 5): Metric Measurement Skills 
Week 11 (August 12): Area and Perimeter of Rectangles/Area of Triangles 
Week 12 (August 19): Volume 
Week 13 (August 26): In and Out Boxes, Line Plots, and Graphs (mixed review)

**The last week of the summer session will be August 26**
