In this course, we will meet together, chat and discuss user names and share names so we can play the game together as a class. Once learners get to know each other, they can extend play by friend requesting each other and begin new friendships within the game and know they are playing with another safe player. This class is a social class and we will play the game together to interact with new people and learn tips and tricks about the game together. This is a great opportunity for new gamers to get a better understanding about the game and to know some safe kids to play the game with outside of their town! *Students should have an additional device to access the game on other than their device for class. As the teacher, I will also be in the game and monitor the game within the class to help facilitate new friendships and safe game play! IMPORTANT: Please provided your Roblox user name in the classroom discussion board. Please started adding your classmates usernames before class if possible. Please make sure you are able to connect to Roblox during class time. Also check your setting to make sure you can join a private server. Students may use whatever device they play Roblox on and also be on a live zoom call for class. Please note we will only be playing Fashion Famous!

Hello!
My name is Michelle. I am so glad you found me on Outschool! Let me tell you a little about myself.
I have been teaching since 2009. I have my masters degree in special education. I have the patience and passion for working with students who have special needs. I have worked closely with the autism community since 2012. I have taught students in grades kindergarten through sixth grade. I have worked closely with children who have been diagnosed with Dyslexia, ODD, Dysgraphia, Autism, ADD, ADHD, Downs Syndrome and those who need social and emotional support. Every child is different and I love teaching students strategies to use not only in academics but as life skills as well. I am an avid reader and writer. I have self-published two books and I am working on more. I love my job because it is challenging and rewarding!
I'm also an online certified TESOL and ESL teacher. I teach children in China how to read and speak English. I've taught over one thousand classes and over three hundred students via this platform. This has given me a tremendous amount of experience teaching children online.
In addition, I have taught children in a preschool setting. I know how important it is to be lively and energetic in order to keep young children's attention. It's also important to be patient and understanding. This experience helped me see the world through the eyes of a child!
I believe that every child is different! Each child has his or her own strengths. Each child has his or her own personality. Each child has the potential to learn and grow in different ways. It is my goal as a teacher to meet those different needs of each unique child.
I will be teaching a variety of classes on Outschool that will instill a love of learning about the world around us. I love teaching many different subjects. My favorite is Language arts.
When I am not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my husband and three children! I am the mom a 8 year old, 7 year old and 4 year old. I love spending time showing them the world around them. Arts and crafts is one of our favorite past times!
