Do you like Project Runway or Making the Cut or Next in Fashion? I love these shows!!! So I have come up with a fun fashion design ongoing class; we will be looking at pictures of master artist paintings and using them for inspiration. I will share information about each artist background and how they created their art. I will show them examples of my own designs, pointing out how I was inspired by the same painting. I will point out how that painting inspired the silhouette, fabric print,...
The students will be learning how real designers use inspiration to create their collections. They will learn information about each artist and they will be expanding their own creative design skills and drawing skills.
