In this one-time class, students will get to know the basics though fun interactive discussions, a Power Point presentation, sketching and coloring. Students will be aware of the following areas: • Roles and Responsibilities of a fashion designer • Skills and qualities required by a fashion designer • Prominent fashion designers • Fashion capitals • Collections and Fashion shows • Fashion Seasons • Fashion trends Students will create a fashion sketch based on the handout provided after you register for the class.

Students should get crayons, color pencils, or markers, pencil and erasers for the class. If the student wants, they may get a notebook/ extra paper for taking down any information.
