💰New Refund policy: Our refund policy for LIVE* ongoing/subscription classes is more flexible than Outschool's policy in this way: If you need to withdraw from a class at least 7 days before it meets or within 24 hours of payment, you will receive a full refund. You must contact the organization owner, Paula Smith for a refund if your request falls 7 or more days before the class meets. If you need to withdraw within 24 hours of payment, you will automatically receive a refund when you withdraw without needing to contact Paula.

Hello! I'm excited to offer my 29 years of teaching experience to your child's educational development! I offer a wide variety of reading and spelling classes geared toward elementary through middle school-age students. 

My specialty is getting non-readers, struggling readers, and readers with Dyslexia, back on grade level in 12 clinical hours or less using the Phono-graphix method. 

I have maintained a private reading clinic out of my home for twenty years and I am very proud to see some of my very first students graduating from college and becoming teachers!!!

I believe that my job as a teacher is to find the best way to help each student, rather than imposing a one-size-fits-all approach.  To do that, I keep my class sizes small and offer private tutoring sessions. I identify reading difficulties and tailor my teaching to help students overcome them. 

I use the Phono-graphix method of teaching reading which was developed for students with Dyslexia. The Phono-Graphix method is based on the Science of Reading.
