The goal for this class is that students will walk away with a detailed understanding of the geologic column, fossil formation and extinction.  Students will also gain a broad perspective on the diversity of life through the ages on our planet.  

I received my degree major in Geology and earned a minor in Biology.  While at college, I focused my study in paleontology and completed an honors thesis in Conodont Biostratigraphy.  I have been teaching science topics such as Geology, Biology and Paleontology to small student groups out of my own classroom, using my own curriculums for over seven years.  

The sources I use to make all my class material comes from my knowledge gained while in college and from from the textbooks I purchased for my classes, such as Bringing Fossils to Life by Prothero.  I also use a variety of dinosaur encyclopedias I've purchased over the years such as Dinosaurus by Steve Parker and Dinosaurs by Carl Mehling.
