Welcome to "Fantastic Fables"! In this engaging and interactive first-grade ELA class, students will embark on a journey through the magical world of fables. In this class, students will dive into a read-aloud story that captivates their imaginations and teaches valuable lessons. This self-paced class is designed to engage young learners by listening to a fun story and participating in follow-up activities to reinforce our story. This class includes: Read-Aloud Stories: Listening to and discussing a timeless fable. Building Vocabulary: Developing a knowledge and understanding of diverse words. I am a passionate and dedicated Special Education teacher with a wealth of knowledge and expertise in the field. With over 15 years of experience under my belt, I have honed my skills in teaching the highly effective Orton-Gillingham reading approach and advocating for students with Dyslexia and other Special Education needs.
My goal as an educator is to foster a supportive and enjoyable classroom environment where every student feels empowered and confident to engage actively in their own educational journey.
