Christie M. graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Interior Design from Stephen F. Austin University. She was the Highest Ranking Senior at the University in her graduation year and maintained a 4.0 GPA. She earned a Tutor 1 certification from the College Reading and Learning Association and has been tutoring and teaching for over 20 years.

Christie has extended her teacher training and passed state tests for a generalist teacher in grades pre-k- through 8 and ESL. She has certifications in TEFL and TESOL and has taught English as a second language to Chinese students for three years. Christie has helped English learners acquire essential skills from many aspects of language arts, including grammar, pronunciation, reading, writing, speaking, and test preparation. She enjoys teaching her students to love learning and to have fun while exploring different educational opportunities.

She has a tutoring certification from the College Reading and Learning Association and has continued her education through the years by studying physics, engineering, higher math, and other courses through Rice and MIT. She is a private tutor and teacher and teaches many exciting subjects like Spanish, algebra, robotics, technology, physics, and design in addition to math, science, ESL, test preparation, and English language arts. She has taught many hands-on STEM classes to learners of all ages.
