In this ongoing class, we will be diving into the world of math. We are going to make math fun by making a “hands on” classroom experience. Math activities will be taught through manipulatives, as well as interactive discussions, problem solving, and PowerPoints. Some of the concepts we will be learning about is as follows: Numbers Counting Addition Subtraction Long, longer, longest/ big, bigger, biggest More than, less than, equal to Patterning Sorting And more! Each week you will be sent the lesson plan for the following week along with any materials needed! Not only will we be learning math concepts in this class, we will also be making friends and learning communication skills!

Hello everyone! My name is Ashley, I live in the United States, throughout the last 12 years I have been a preschool teacher, after-school program director and a general manager. I built my way up in the same company and have worn many hats. I have in depth experience working with children of all ages. In 2011, I received my bachelors degree in human development and Human Resources with a concentration in Early Childhood Education. More recently, since 2020, I have been teaching on Outschool. This has been my favorite position yet!! What I love about education and teaching children is the connection that I am able to form with them. I want children to feel comfortable and have fun learning. Aside from teaching, I have two children of my very own who I homeschool.
