Learning English is far from easy and I am here to partner with your student in order to help them succeed. Students can receive help with homework, help practicing difficult concepts, and help studying for tests. I am happy to answer any questions they might have and go more in-depth with them on topics that they have difficulty understanding. I am confident that together, we can help them reach their goals. In our tutoring sessions, I will strive to help students achieve A2 level proficiency goals such as being able to comprehend sentences and phrases, being able to use English to communicate simple and direct ideas, being able to talk about events that have taken place in the past, and being able to describe their current needs using English. Through working on various skills such as listening, reading, writing, speaking, grammar, and vocabulary I know that your student can grow in their understanding of and ability to use the English language.

I possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Music and a TESOL certificate from Biola University. I have a wide variety of tutoring and teaching experience. I specialize in teaching music and English but I have had experience teaching and tutoring for other subjects as well. I have taught private music lessons online and in person, I have worked as a preschool teacher, and I have recently assisted in directing an international children’s choir. In addition to these things, I am experienced using online platforms such as Canvas, Zoom, ProPresenter, and more. Finally, I have worked with children, in both volunteer and work settings, for over 10 years. Teaching children is my passion.
