ESL：由經驗豐富的老師授課的私人英語課程（每週 2 次）

This class is perfect for learners that are interested in learning English and developing/practicing their conversational skills. As a native English speaker and TESOL certified teacher, I will provide a class that is an immersive and safe learning space, where learners can build their knowledge and understanding of the English language by building vocabulary and practicing conversational skills in a small group setting. Classes are designed to support many different learning styles, in a one on one setting. This class is a private tutoring session, which ensures that your learner will have many opportunities to speak and receive individualized attention. The goal is to build up to 70% output from the student and 30% from the teacher. The classes will follow the same format each session, to provide the consistency in instruction, which is beneficial to young learners. I will be using Google Slides during each lesson, as we go over new vocabulary and practice using complete sentences. We will begin each lesson with introductions and hellos. Then we will move into the lesson theme. Each week we will focus on new vocabulary, pronunciation, syntax, sentence structure and grammar. I am a qualified teacher with several years experience teaching English Language Learners both in person and online. This is a fantastic way to learn and practice conversational English skills. 

I do not over-correct every single mistake made by a student. This leads to lack of confidence for the student and possibly not wanting to participate.  I always model the correct one word answer and complete sentence. I also praise students when giving  either. I believe in scaffolding, using visual clues and allowing students time to self correct without interruption.

This class meets 2x per week for 25 minutes at a time.  This ensures that students have plenty of time to speak with the teacher and with each other. Learners will practice their English conversational skills through answering questions, using complete sentences and learning/using new vocabulary words. This class is perfect for beginning to intermediate learners. Beginners will focus on basic vocabulary, sentence structures and pronunciation. I will also guide them in asking and answering questions with each other, while more advanced students can practice their conversational skills with gentle support as needed. 

My teaching style is to be very gentle and patient. I believe in and use lots of encouragement and praise. I will often model correct patterns and encourage students to repeat. I will gently guide students as they interact with me and with others. I am able to adapt and accommodate many different learning styles. I will use different teaching methods that include individual and paired/group activities, games, music and movement. I also like to encourage drawing and writing, as it relates to the class and lesson.
