適合 4 至 6 年級學生的 ESL - 初級（A1 和 A2）

This class is taught in a way that will assist the child learn English in a natural way. Our class will be based on topics that 4th-6th graders would be interested in. Each topic will flow through the activities that we do. 


Class Schedule:

* Conversation Starter with Pictures: We will look at some pictures with vocabulary words and discuss similarities and differences. 

* Vocabulary Words: We will have two words used in sentences and discuss unfamiliar words. 

* Reading: We will have a short passage (with a picture) that I've created using the vocabulary words. To encourage, EVERY student to verbally interact with the language, we will read the passage aloud together. We will go back and discuss any questions students have on the words and the content. Then, we have basic comprehensions questions. I can adjust the question complexity based on how well students do on this. 

*Writing: Students will write using words we discussed in the class, which will be displayed on the screen for students to use as a resource. Students should ask for help and feedback on formulating their thoughts. 

*Listening Comprehension or Games: Listening Comprehension is when I will tell them 1-2 sentences and they need to draw their understanding on a whiteboard or piece of paper. Games will be in the form of Jeopardy, virtual board game, or Matching card game. 


In this class, students will be encouraged often to ask questions when they don't understand and affirm that it's okay to not understand something!
