課堂經歷
英語程度 - A2
美國 3 - 6 年級
Intermediate - Advanced 等級
In this course, intermediate-level students will practice reading and speaking English with a focus on speaking more fluently and using more advanced vocabulary. Each class, we will read an article from National Geographic Kids magazine and then answer comprehension and discussion questions about the reading. A typical class will follow this structure: Warm-up greetings: 5 minutes Reading: 5 - 10 minutes Guided Discussion: 15 - 20 minutes I will give immediate feedback about pronunciation, word choice, and sentence structure. Students will be challenged to use a variety of vocabulary and sentence structures new to them in order to move from intermediate to advanced level. They will have an opportunity to correct themselves and to ask questions about English and the reading topic. This is an interactive course that is meant to encourage conversation and build vocabulary, speaking fluency, and confidence. Students will be successful in this class if they are intermediate-level English speakers. Within three class sessions, committed participatory students will see an increase in their speaking ability and confidence. To ensure this, the class is limited to 5 students.
