Students will learn all about equivalent fractions. They will gather a deeper understanding of what equal means, how to read equivalent fractions, and determine if two fractions are in fact equal using a few different strategies. These strategies include visuals, models, and the butterfly method. I will teach in typical I do, We do, You for format. My teaching style incorporates real life examples, lots of visuals, and goofiness. Students will be able to interact with me along with their classmates. Students will need basic fraction understanding (see my other courses) and place value concepts.

I am a math lover! I will be teaching all things math related, from place value, to addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, measurement, and geometry.
