In this skill enhancing class, young violinists will learn ways to discover their unique sound and also find different sounds and colours that you can create on the violin. They will also be working through challenging pieces, and more advanced techniques. -Basic grounding Technique, Covering fundamental techniques to be able to produce a good tone. -Exercises to build sound -Games/activities to get more control when playing -Working through some more challenging pieces from the violin repertoire. -Working on variety of colour and sound, and developing a more advanced technique. -Tips on how to create Dynamics and colour -Different sounds, use of Bow speeds and bow tilt. The class will be a mixture of activities, games, technical development as well as pieces to help develop and build their sound, and ability.
