With the option to choose from popular workbooks and request individualized lessons in advance, there's no better way to enhance your skills and achieve your language goals. Grammar! Need a refresher, practice, or fun interactive grammar projects? Stories are a great way to help Outschoolers learn new topics, master vocabulary, and work towards mastering language arts standards in this 1:1 class. Writing Master the paragraph structure, learn how to write vividly, and jump easily into essay writing and let's unlock your learner's potential in writing! In this tutoring session, we can focus on enhancing elementary and middle school writing skills with personalized attention to your learner's unique writing needs. Sentence Diagrams! Diagramming sentences is a playful, fun way to analyze everyday language. It's for all ages, from students just learning to master the parts of speech to students middle school students who are formulating more written work as well as those prepping for higher-education tests. Diagramming helps students visually how English Language parts of speech work together in a sentence. When requesting tutoring sessions, please indicate the diagramming concepts to review or teach, each tutoring session is tailored to your student's needs. Our tutoring session is ideal if you: ✓Follow the Classical Conversations Curriculum ✓Are using the First Language Lessons And Well Trained Mind grammar ✓Shurley English Language Learners ✓Analytical Grammar Curriculum ✓ Using The Critical Thinking Co. Diagramming workbooks ✓Are learning advanced grammar ✓Need a solid grammar refresher ✓Learn the parts of a paragraph and essay structure Missed Classes: The instructor enters the classroom 5-2 minutes before the session is scheduled to begin. The instructor will wait 10 minutes in the classroom for the learner to enter. If a learner has not entered by 10 min, the Instructor will leave class and contact the parent regarding makeup class options. Multiple Classes: I welcome multiple classes! Please contact me for scheduling options for multi-session tutoring. I encourage you to enroll in all classes you wish to attend when completing your first enrollment. Classes fill quickly.
學習目標
This sentence diagramming tutoring session will strengthen a students ability to identify the 8 parts of speech, locate those parts in well-constructed sentences, and see the patterns inherent in English. In other words, diagramming sentences helps students become better readers, writers, and critical thinkers!

My educational goal is to enable your student to become engaged in grammar with excitement. By tapping into your learner's learning enthusiasm, they are active and engaged in their learning process. I have taught over 4,000 Outschool students, and logged more than 1000 Outschool teaching hours, in engaging, educational, and inspiring English Language courses. I am a certified Tennessee K-6th grade teacher. My educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in English, Communications, and Print Media. You will find more about my Outschool teaching journey on various media outlets, including CBS New York, Business Insider, and the American Board for Teacher Excellence.
My personal goal is for your learner to have a positive, educational experience with Outschool. If you have a learner who is outside the range of the class, please contact me in order to make accommodations. If a class section is full, and it is the only time you can take the class, contact me as well - I am always willing to work with an eager learner.
Why take on the challenge of sentence diagramming? It allows students to clarify their thinking, fix their sentences, and put grammar to use in a different way. Putting all of the words of a sentence on a diagram enables learners to identify the logical connections between different parts of the sentence. From my own personal teaching experience, learning diagram sentences have allowed an average grammar student to become a strong grammar student.評論
