Throughout my life, I've dedicated myself to imparting the invaluable lessons of diversity to individuals of all ages, extending beyond just children. Each day, I encourage a sense of compassion for diversity among children, an endeavor I've passionately pursued since June 2020 through my teaching on Outschool. My classes delve into crucial topics under the vast umbrella of diversity, exploring subjects such as women's rights, race, gender, ethnic backgrounds, LGBTQIA+, and much more. These discussions aim to foster understanding, empathy, and an appreciation for the rich tapestry of human experiences. On a personal note, my commitment to diversity is deeply rooted in my family life. My husband and I are proud parents to two children of color, whom we've joyfully raised since birth and who are now thriving at ages 15 and 16. Additionally, my nephew is both transgender and diabetic, further enriching our understanding and acceptance of diverse identities and experiences.
