This is a story-based course that will focus on building vocabulary, reading and responding to simple texts, and conversation.
Thematic vocabulary and grammar build upon each other each week. There is an emphasis on listening comprehension and speaking about different topics.
Students will learn Spanish...By the end of class, students will have the tools to talk about places in the community, jobs people do, and what they would like to do when they are older. They will also discuss simple geography in connection with community. They will complete projects that will be presented during the course of the class. Weekly content includes the following: Places in the community Community workers and what they do What do you want to be when you grow up? Prepositions and giving directions Geographical terms and connections with community Cultural connections

There is no homework, however, parent notes, handouts, and study materials and resources are provided to practice and extend what is learned in class. Practice is essential to progress and success.0 - 1 每週課外時間

Students will complete oral (and optionally, visual) projects that will be presented in designated classes. Their work will culminate in a class book that all in their section get a copy of.提供的成績

Several pages of handouts and parent notes are included for each week's practice and study.
