THIS IS A SEMESTER CLASS, BUT STUDENTS ARE WELCOME TO JOIN ANY WEEK. Each week we will cover a different scientific related topic. The course will be highly interactive and will incorporate interactive student activities into the class. I work hard to provide a positive, educational and fun classroom experience for each student. The class will begin with basic information and lead in to the interactive activities which will include games and live video clips. Each class will include a worksheet focusing on the topic of the week. In this lesson, students will learn all about photosynthesis. The process of photosynthesis will be taught as well as all of the parts of the process. The class will incorporate a learning worksheet, videos and class instruction. The lesson is around 30 minutes start to finish and students are welcome to email the instructor their completed worksheets each session. Layers of the Earth/Earth Science
In this lesson, students will learn all about the layers of the earth. Learners will see the different layers and also learn what the layers are made of. A portion of the lesson will also cover soil composition. The class will incorporate a learning worksheet, videos and class instruction. The lesson is around 30 minutes start to finish and students are welcome to email the instructor their completed worksheets each session. In this lesson, students will learn all about food webs. Students will also learn how food chains relate to and are different from food webs. Hello there!
I love teaching students of all ages! I have over 20 years experience teaching students ranging in age from 4 to college level students. I strive to create a fun and engaging classroom where each student is eager to learn and participate. My mission is to make learning enjoyable and memorable.
My areas of expertise are communications and public speaking, but I love teaching science and animal related courses and helping students work on their reading skills. I currently travel around the country doing test prep classes for high school students.
I also have a passion for teaching younger students how to read. I have my ESL certification, a BS in Communications from the University of Tennessee and a MA in Business Management from Tusculum University.
I live in beautiful East Tennessee with my husband Chris, one bunny, three golden doodles and a yorkie!評論
