Your child will receive individualized instruction to ensure a thorough understanding of the Reading concepts (sight words, comprehension, main idea, grammar, writing, etc.). I can work toward helping your child reach mastery of those standards that he/she is not confident in.

In each session, students should bring any work they have struggled with or homework they need help on. Using age/level appropriate strategies, I will guide them through completing their homework or help them review previous work in which they struggled. I will need for you to provide me with a copy of that material (just a quick screenshot will work fine). If I am providing material for your child to work on, I will attach the material before class so that it can be printed. I can also provide assistance with work that is online. For example, IXL and iReady.

My goal is to encourage independent learning while providing the necessary support to help students succeed academically. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out. Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance of the scheduled session. No refunds or rescheduling are available for cancellations made within the 24-hour window or for missed sessions.
