Class Description "Eco Explorers" introduces elementary students to environmental stewardship through interactive and hands-on activities. Over four weeks, students will learn about biodiversity, sustainability, and responsible waste management by engaging in nature walks, scavenger hunts, recycling projects, and group discussions. They will explore SDGs 14 (Life Below Water) and 15 (Life on Land), learning how to protect the planet's natural resources. The course is designed to foster a sense of responsibility toward the environment, encouraging students to become thoughtful stewards of the Earth. Class Experience Throughout this course, students will participate in a variety of activities, including nature scavenger hunts, recycling relays, and creative art projects. They will engage with the natural world, learning about biodiversity, ecosystems, and the importance of reducing waste. The class will be structured with a balance of interactive lessons, outdoor exploration, and group discussions. My teaching style emphasizes hands-on learning and student participation, ensuring each learner can actively engage in discussions, ask questions, and share their ideas. Learners will interact with me and their peers through games, group activities, and guided discussions. The course will culminate in students creating a vision for a sustainable future.
