This class is a multi sensory art class designed to explore and learn about different art concepts through the senses. Students will learn about the importance of sustainability and the problem we have in our communities with TRASH. Where does the trash go and how it affects our lives and our planet. This class will focus on using recyclable materials that we have available around the house as art supplies for our art projects, teaching students how to create their own artwork while learning how to reduce, recycle and reuse.

Students will learn how to use their creativity to create something from random recyclable materials, creating consciousness about the environment and provide an art solution for an overflowing recycling bin at home.

Recyclable materials aka: toilet and paper towel rolls, egg cartons, bubble wrap and other wrapping or packaging materials, leaves, sticks, left over cutout papers, old magazines or holiday or birthday cards, containers, etc Sometimes we will need a big paper (17inx11in) to make our art on, this can be upcycled or just plain big white sturdy paper.
