Whether your student loves to draw, just needs a confidence-boost, or wants to learn how to create their own cute illustrations and doesn't know where to start, Easy Peasy Cute Cartoon Club has something for everyone. We will meet once a week to learn how to create impressive, adorable, and super cute drawings they'll be able to recreate later on their own that are sure to impress their friends. Whether your student has never drawn before or is on their way to becoming a pro artist, this class will help them improve their drawing skills and give them new ideas of impressive and cute illustration tricks to show their friends. This course is for any student that enjoys being creative, has an interest in art, or would like to improve their drawing ability. The only prior skill required is the ability to follow detailed and slow visual and verbal directions. We usually complete two drawings per class. As we get closer to holidays or a change in seasons, we usually complete one piece of art that is themed and one that is not. In each live class meeting, I will go step-by-step through the process of creating cute, colorful pieces of adorable art. Students will also have the chance to share their illustrations with the class after they complete each illustration. This class should leave your student feeling accomplished and relaxed each week - empowering them with new art ideas and the ability to teach their friends or family how to draw simple, adorable art. Students are encouraged to work within a dedicated sketchbook to create a portfolio of all of their cute creations they learn in this class. Students can join this on-going class at any time and will begin working in their sketchbook during their first class with me. Students will have the opportunity to interact with me during class for support as needed, as well as talk and share with other students.

Please check the supply list to help your learner prepare for class. We usually create two pieces of art each class. Sometimes close to holidays or as we near a change in seasons, one piece of art we create may be loosely holiday/seasonally themed, while the other piece of art usually isn't.

The Gifted Teacher is an educational organization of the most successful, highly-trained, award-winning, engaging and experienced teachers in their area of expertise. The Gifted Teacher, LLC was created by Mrs. Frenzel, who serves as the lead teacher, owner, parent liaison and curriculum developer. Almost all academic classes offered by The Gifted Teacher are hands-on experiences that implement data-based, research-backed modalities designed to not only keep children engaged and feeling confident, but most important, effectively improve each students ability, knowledge, and proficiency. We often meet students where they're at even in group classes to differentiate for individual's strengths, deficits, interests, ages, and special considerations, pushing them to the next level in a way where they're both challenged and adequately supported to take risks. Classes offered by The Gifted Teacher blur the lines of what parents may have thought possible with other virtual instruction opportunities.
About Mrs. Frenzel: I love teaching, creating, and building strong student relationships. I have a degree in Early Childhood Education, and I'm a certified teacher in Texas of early childhood-6th grade. I also hold current Gifted and Talented and ESL education certifications. I'm experienced with providing multi-sensory dyslexia and dysgraphia support, and I am an Orton-Gillingham certified teacher. I also have experience as a behavioral analysis direct therapist serving students in a behavioral health facility. I have ten years of in-person teaching and applied behavior therapy experience, and I have three years of online teaching experience working with 3-18 year olds. I’m honored to be the recipient of two teaching awards: a 2015 Teachers Achieving Excellence award from the board of education, and the 2019 Teacher of the Year award chosen by administrators, parents of students, and my fellow teachers. We have five kids (a 14 year old boy, a 13 year old boy, a 12 year old boy, a six year old girl, and a four year old boy).
Myself and my partner teachers Mrs. Ortense, Mrs. Morris, Ms, Turner, Mr. Justin, Mrs. Sands and Ms. Anderson are caring, creative, experienced, award-winning, trained, passionate educators who provide meaningful student-teacher relationships and positive classroom environments. Together we've taught over 5,000 unique students online from over 60 countries around the world utilizing our proven effective (and often fun!) unique curriculum we offer at The Gifted Teacher. Each class we offer ensures social, emotional and academic value is added to each child that attends.
