Are you a Mandarin speaker but it’s hard to get your kids speaking it? Or do you want your child to learn a new language? In this one-on-one course, students will get tailor-made lesson plans according to their levels and needs. Everyone is different and learns differently, we hope to build a friendly relationship with your child so we can understand them better and teach them in a unique way that suits their needs. In this class, we will be practicing Mandarin Pinyin, beginner vocabulary, conversation, or anything the student is interested in or want to improve. For beginner students, we will be learning basic vocabulary including numbers, weather, animals, transportation, festivals, telling time, etc. As students progress we will be learning to speak in complete sentences and more complex vocabulary. Students will learn through visuals, reading, playing games, and worksheets. Our classes will be encouraging, fun and we will help your child to build up confidence in Mandarin. If there are other times and days you prefer, please message me and we can work it out. Class can be available for ages 3-18. Please message me for info! Price is per learner. Hello! Welcome to Joyful E-Learning!
I’m Joanne, the founder. I was born in Hong Kong, moved to Canada, and returned to Hong Kong after graduating from the University of Toronto with an Honors Bachelor of Arts Degree. Currently, I am based in Canada. With over 10 years of teaching experience and growing up in a bilingual family, I have deepened my understanding of the obstacles faced in learning both languages. I draw upon my experiences to help children improve in both languages.
At Joyful E-Learning, we offer different types of classes: 1:1 sessions, group sessions, and pre-recorded classes. We believe that enjoyment enhances learning, and we strive for our learners to relish each session and eagerly anticipate the next. Our classes are designed to be fun, engaging, and educational.
