Welcome to my Earth Science course, which focuses on some of the most dramatic physical forces on Earth, with the aim of making learning fun and exhilarating. I think making learning enjoyable and bringing science to life is the best way to get kids engaged and learning without realising it. No previous experience necessary. Please contact me if you need my Degree Certificates sent to you. ▬▬▬▬▬▬ CLASS SUMMARY ▬▬▬▬▬ In this class we focus on all parts of the Earth Science school curriculum, with a new topic being introduced each week. All topics covered are an important part of any child's education in Geology, Meteorology, Physical Geography, Oceanography, Environmental Science, Astronomy and Space Science. We cover dinosaurs, fossils, volcanoes, tornadoes, hurricanes, minerals & gems, the planets, ocean currents, the changing environment and connected Earth systems. Please see my course syllabus for more details on class content and schedules. 1 Year Course Option - if you like Semester 3 you can book Semester 4 in January. Another year or more interactive class option - take Semester 5 & 6, where we work through previous NY Regents Exam questions. Private Tuition also available - please contact me directly. ▬▬▬▬▬▬ CLASS STYLE ▬▬▬▬▬ I use PowerPoint presentations for all my classes, so I can mix text and multimedia (photos & videos) which I think makes the class more accessible and interesting. I use educational videos regularly in my classes where this improves the quality of the teaching. This class will be in a lecture style where students are reminded they can ask questions at any time and I do enjoy questions. This means that you can enjoy the class however you like - speak up and get involved and ask questions, or just listen and enjoy with no pressure. ▬▬▬▬▬▬ COMMUNICATIONS ▬▬▬▬▬ Please contact me to arrange either one-off or ongoing bespoke 1-to1 tuition sessions. Earth Science as a Science: Theories, Evidence & Research
In this class we look at how science progresses by looking at several examples from Earth Science. These include Plate Tectonics, the Dinosaur Extinction and the History of Geology. 50 分鐘線上直播課

Geology 1: More Minerals, Gems & Precious Metals
In this class we go into more detail about the most interesting minerals and explore how they relate to precious gems and metals. We will look at the main silicate and non-silicate mineral groups and explore the differences between them. 50 分鐘線上直播課

Environmental Science 1: Water Cycles & Water Shortages
In this class we explore the water cycle and how it connects with the other major Earth cycles. We then look at how climate change may be causing water shortages and some of the solutions that humans are using to prevent this. 50 分鐘線上直播課

Environmental Science 2: Lanslides & Mass Wasting
In this class we take a close look at landslides and mass wasting and what triggers them. We look at ways that humans try to prevent them and look at some famous case studies from around the world. 50 分鐘線上直播課

Some classes talks about Global Warming and Climate Change causing more frequent natural disasters. It also talks about mass extinctions including the possibility of humans causing one now (including ourselves) and has some drawn images of animals dying to become fossils. It is delivered in a upbeat manner with positive solutions (eg: switching to renewable energy), but the more sensitive students may find these topics distressing.
This class is a science class which includes using the theory of evolution as an assumption.
