Class Description:

During their 1:1 writing sessions, learners will develop their writing abilities through a carefully structured curriculum tailored to their age and skill level. The class will be conducted in a supportive and engaging environment, encouraging creativity and fostering a love for writing. 

I use 3 different levels of writing instruction based on your learner's age and needs.

Emerging: (5-6 years old) 
Leaners will focus on foundational skills and begin exploring different genres of writing.

Unit 1: Foundational Skills
Unit 2: Introduction to Sentences
Unit 3: Complete Sentences
Unit 4: Expanding Sentences
Unit 5: Writing Friendly Letters
Unit 6: Personal Narrative
Unit 7: Opinion Writing
Unit 8: Explanatory Writing
Unit 9: Informational Writing


Beginner: (6-7 years old) 
Leaners will review foundational skills, explore grammar, and expand their knowledge of different writing genres.

Unit 1: Foundational Skills
Unit 2: Personal Narrative
Unit 3: Opinion Writing
Unit 4: Explanatory Writing
Unit 5: Writing Friendly Letters
Unit 6: Informational Writing
Unit 7: Creative Narrative Writing
Unit 8: Realistic Narrative Writing

Intermediate: (7-9 years old)
Leaners will continue to expand their knowledge of the different writing genres while learning about the writing process.

Unit 4: Explanatory Writing
Unit 5: Explanatory Letters
Unit 6: Informational Writing
Unit 7: Creative Narrative Writing
Unit 8: Realistic Narrative Writing

Class Structure:
- The course will be conducted one-on-one, allowing for personalized attention and tailored instruction based on each learner's individual needs and learning pace.
- Each session will consist of a combination of instruction, guided practice, interactive activities, and constructive feedback to reinforce concepts and foster skill development.
- Class duration and frequency will be determined based on the student's age, attention span, and availability.
