I will offer feedback after students perform an exercise and, if needed, provide suggestions to help the student master the concept. Mistakes are a part of learning a musical instrument! So students should not worry if they play the exercise or a piece correct on the first try. Please note: This class is designed for early intermediate pianists. Contact the instructor to assess if this is the proper level. Prospective students should be familiar with major and minor triads/scales, chord inversions and one-octave arpeggios. Sight reading music is essential to this class so prospective students should be comfortable with reading music in the Level 4 Piano Adventures series. In this class, students will explore various pieces in the Baroque & Classical Eras. We'll discuss defining characteristics in both eras. Please note: We will be using Piano Literature Book 2 by Nancy & Randall Faber. Please see the class syllabus for weekly breakdown.

Minuet in G Major
We'll develop this famous piece by Christian Pezold (often attributed to JS Bach). This piece was considered dance music in the Baroque Era. 30 分鐘線上直播課
