StrongMinds teachers provide one-on-one online tutoring services for children from PreK to 12th grade who need support or enrichment in literacy. Our individual lessons are engaging, multi-sensory, effective, and fun!

A student who struggles with reading can experience profound frustration and shame. As a dyslexic myself, I understand these feelings deeply. Our sessions aim to help students feel confident about making mistakes and becoming comfortable with challenges. These moments are true opportunities to learn and grow. Whether a student struggles with decoding words, skipping words, or guessing based on the first letter, we have positive, enjoyable strategies to overcome these hurdles. Our ultimate goal is to help students fall in love with reading, progressing to high-interest texts they can’t get enough of.

This ongoing section of our popular 8-week tutoring course offers flexibility. You can easily sign up for 2, 3, or 4 days a week by registering for multiple sessions. The first one or two sessions will focus on understanding your child’s individual strengths and weaknesses through a comprehensive reading assessment. This personalized approach ensures that each lesson targets your child’s specific needs, with continual assessment to tailor the program accordingly.
