🌟 Each scheduled week will run a fresh new adventure! 🌟 Adventure Schedule: 16th-20th December - Frozen Sick 26th-30th December - The Wintermarkt Festival 1st-5th January - The Sand Sorcerer Join us as we play through The Holiday Hunter: Christmas Camp Adventures. Each week features an ideal mini adventure for beginner or experienced players. Week Structure: CLASS 1: Introductions & Character Creation Introductions - Learners will meet each other and share their experiences with Dungeons & Dragons or similar games. Rules - Collectively, learners create a set of rules to follow during the week, including communication, positive gaming attitudes, and how to show respect for fellow learners. Character Creation - Learners will create their characters for the adventure. CLASSES 2, 3 & 4: Gameplay Story Catchup - Learners (alternating each day) will retell the story so far. Gameplay - Students will play through the adventure mixing a combination of exploration, roleplay, & combat. Summaries - Each class will feature a quick summary to close of the session and prepare for the next day. CLASS 5: FRIDAY - Story Conclusion & Week Reflection Story Conclusion - In this final session, we will wrap up any remaining parts of the story. Favorite Moments - Learners will collaboratively discuss favorite moments from the adventure! Learning Outcomes - Students will reflect on their weekly learning, acknowledging skills they developed and areas they could improve. Goodbyes - Finally, learners will discuss their next plans for the summer and bid farewell and good luck to their new groups of friends! To participate in this adventure, students will require access to a computer. Alongside our Zoom meetings, we will be using the websites D&D Beyond (https://www.dndbeyond.com/) and Owlbear Rodeo (https://www.owlbear.rodeo/) to enhance our gameplay. 🎲 Ready to roll the dice? 🎲

This class features gameplay that includes fighting and killing monsters, so parents should be aware that the story and themes will include these elements.
We also use the websites D&D Beyond (https://www.dndbeyond.com/) and Owlbear Rodeo (https://www.owlbear.rodeo/). D&D Beyond is an officially licensed game by the Wizards of the Coast who creates the game Dungeons & Dragons. We use the website exclusively for making the characters learners will use and them making a group so players can see each others characters. However parents should note that the website also features an online forum for members of the public. Therefore content cannot be fully censored. Owlbear Rodeo is a website that provides maps to use while playing.
