This is a 5-day art camp that meets Monday through Friday for one week. I will teach young artists how to identify shapes and lines in Super Mario Bros characters - specifically, Super Mario Odyssey! Each student will create a drawing each day by following along, as I guide the process step-by-step. Students may use a pencil with a good eraser, and then go over lines using a black marker. After drawing the figure, we will color them in, and students can use any coloring utensil they prefer! Crayons, colored pencils, markers, paint, pastels, the sky is the limit! We will always complete the drawing together, and the coloring will sometimes be completed after class. Sometimes classes work faster and we get through coloring together as well, and even have time to add more details. I will always provide a sample in the classroom for color reference for learners completing coloring after class if we don't finish coloring in class time. While this is an art-based course, we want to also feel like a community, and get to know others who share a love for Super Mario Bros. This class is great as a standalone camp, or as an add-on my other Mario Bros character drawing classes!
