The learning goals will include drawing skills and techniques including sketching, creating dimension, using perspective, and using grid lines to re-create a picture.
I have been an educator for over 30 years. During this time, I have taught all academic areas as well as art and STEAM classes for grades K-5.
Paper or sketchbook Pencil- soft graphite I use a 4H mechanical pencil Eraser- I use a kneaded eraser Smudging sticks or tissue without lotion For day 5, the learner will need a picture for the lesson. This picture will be used to inspire our drawings during the lesson. For day 6, the learner will need a picture and a ruler. They will be drawing on this picture, so it is better if a printed copy is used rather than an original.
The learners will be determining some of the content of the pictures they draw as well as conversational topics.
There will be no outside sources used for this class.
