課堂經歷
In this portrait class we will be drawing self portraits from Kahlo, Van Gogh, Picasso and Matisse's Green Stripe which is a portrait of his wife. We will discuss the importance of self portraits and and how they are created. I will also point out how each artist approaches their portraits. The students will learn basic measuring of the face and how the parts relate to each other. I will be teaching them tools to build their drawing using simple shapes, relating, shading, drawing light and loose, measuring, directions of lines, turning the drawing upside down and impact.
