In this one-time art course, students will learn how to draw differerent dinosaurs as Squishmallows while also learning interesting science facts about dinosaurs. 

Students will be given step-by-step, directed drawing instructions for how to draw various dinosaurs using basic shapes as well as proper proportions and perspective. Students are also welcome to bring their own creativity to class and make their own additions or changes to the drawing. During class time, there will also be open, informal discussion about dinosaurs and students will learn some basic facts about several dinosaurs. 

For older and more advanced students, there will be additional art tips such as how to add accessories and creative interesting background scenes. 

In this class students can expect to learn:
- Tips for basic drawing skills such as basic shape drawing, proper proportions, perspective, and proper drawing hand techniques
- Basic facts and information about various dinosaurs
- More advanced students will have time to add additional details including accessories and background scenes. 

All my classes are highly interactive and include informal discussion. We also often play relaxing music in the background if students choose. Students who wish to remain silent are also welcome! 

This class includes an original, unique coloring page for students to print if they choose.

FAQ/Policies

- ONE STUDENT PER SPOT. If enrolling multiple students, please register each of them. Multiple students appearing under the same spot will result in students being removed from the classroom.

- All my Outschool classes have a limited refund policy. Transfers, no-shows, late arrivals, cancellations, refunds and make-up requests CANNOT be accommodated within 24 hours of class time. No exceptions. Class recordings are available upon request for missed sections if the class proceeds with other students. 

- Teachers on Outschool are independent contractors who cannot control nor troubleshoot technical issues with Zoom or the Outschool platform. Please test your connection with your device in advance of class time and contact Outschool directly at support@outschool.com for help with technical issues. 

- Live sections with no present learners are cancelled after 10 minutes of class time. 

- I do not offer sibling discounts for public classes at this time, however, I do offer a small discount for private classes when registering 2 or more students for a month or more. Please message me for more details. 

- These are WYSIWIG art classes: What-You-See-Is-What-You-Get! All thumbnails, promotional materials, class resources, and in-class drawings are original art produced by Marie (the teacher). Students are often offered a variety of reference images and resources from popular art styles to choose so they can draw in their preferred style, but special focus is paid to developing student's original art skills and not simply copying another artist. All images, drawings or other art resources are never taken from other artists to use as promotional materials.
