In this drawing class we will learn the steps to draw a realistic human face using proportion guides. Students will receive step-by-step instructions and will follow along, working on their own portrait drawing. Instruction is given in a calm, friendly environment with encouragement. Questions are welcome. Students, if they choose, may share their drawing at the end of class.

A pencil, an eraser, a ruler and a few sheets of white paper are the only necessary tools needed for this class. If a student already has a sketchbook or drawing pencils then please encourage them to use them in class. However, just a regular pencil and white paper will also work just fine.
