In this class, students will learn how to apply drag makeup using decades-old techniques, many of which can be used for everyday makeup as well. We will go over how drag queens block out their eyebrows and color correct both the brows and any facial hair they may have, as well as a base of foundation, concealer, and power. We will discuss a few different techniques for drawing the eyebrows back on, and the process of "baking" creamy products to ensure that the makeup is long-lasting. I will be demonstrating and explaining the classic exaggerated cut-crease that many drag queens use as their signature look, but students are encouraged to play with their own color combinations and get creative. We will also apply fake lashes, although this is an optional step if anyone does not have access to them. To finish off the look, we will over-line and contour the lips.
