Interested in teaching your dog some tricks? Have you wondered how to get started in the sports of dog agility or obedience? In this ongoing class, the learner can choose what subject to explore each week. You might want to teach your dog a new trick or two for fun, or work towards earning a trick dog title. Perhaps your dog needs to brush up on obedience skills, or maybe you are interested in competing in the rally or obedience ring. Are you captivated by watching handlers guide their dogs through an agility course? You could learn lead up activities using supplies you already have. Maybe you have a new puppy or dog that needs to learn some manners. When you sign up, you can choose between tricks, obedience,  agility, or manners. 
Here is an example of what you might choose for your personalized training program:

Week 1 - Basic obedience skills. Sit, down, and recall.
Week 2 - Tricks. Paw/shake, target training, and spin.
Week 3 - Furthering obedience skills. Stay, around, and back.
Week 4 - Agility lead up exercises - Stay/come and hind end awareness exercises.

 This class is for you and your dog or puppy. All training will be done in a kind and patient manner, teaching the dog to think for itself. No rough handling allowed! The instructor has many years experience teaching and training different types of dogs in these sports. She also avidly competes with her own dogs.
