We will use video lectures that include an online whiteboard so students can see problems being worked out. During meetings we will have formative assessments where I can monitor student learning. Students will also be asked to work in groups at times to complete problem sets or in class activities (students can elect to work individually if they wish). I will be available for questions during the class meetings as well as during the week outside of class as students work on optional class assignments. We will go over topics tested on the AP Calculus AB exam including, concepts involving limits, derivatives and integrals.

My teaching style is based on the foundation of kindness, patience and encouragement, almost like a coach. I truly want my students to succeed! I take into account individual learning styles and make the difficult concepts surprisingly easy by explaining concepts in a way students today understand. As a Math tutor since 2010 and high school math teacher since 2017, I have learned that not every student learns the same way. Math can be difficult to grasp and at times teachers teach Math only one way. With Math it is all about the way you approach the problem and the methods you use to solve it. As a younger tutor and current teacher, I have an innovative approach to teaching Math concepts online in my own courses. I can teach your child the tricks of the trade and together we can watch your child succeed beyond their wildest dreams!
