Imagine...Music is a unique introduction to music. It brings the joy and love of music making to children of all ages. SING Your child will begin to discover his/her singing voice through songs, chants, and vocal exploration. MOVE Your child will develop body awareness and coordination through creative movement, drama, rhythm, and beat. LEARN Your child will practice integration of language, math, science, and social studies. PLAY Your child will learn by doing. IMAGINE Music in your child’s lives! Today we will explore the opposite sounds of high and low. We will actively create music while rhyming, counting, and discovering animals, pitch, and people. We will meet a lion and a bird, then plant a tree… oh my, watch out for the flea that landed on your knee!

High and low will be the focus of this introductory lesson. We will also learn many songs and movements that will reinforce steady beat, pitch, language skills, physical coordination, math, science, and kindness. A true musical treasure chest!其他詳情

I am a teacher who is often described as energetic, fun, engaging, worldly, loving, creative, and kind. For 22 years, I have taught music in Preschool to 6th grade, and have worked with children of all ages and backgrounds. My teaching culminates from an eclectic journey through many countries, yet rooted in my own. In my class, we celebrate differences, appreciate similarities, and learn that we are each an incredible part of our musical community. We learn, laugh, and create beautiful music together!
