Week 1Lesson 1Introduction to Long DivisonStudents will understand the concept of long division and learn the steps involved in dividing a 2-digit and 3-digit number by a 1-digit number without remainders.Lesson 2Long Division with RemaindersStudents will learn how to handle remainders in long division problemsWeek 2Lesson 3Applying Long Division to Word ProblemsStudents will apply their long division skills to solve word problems.Lesson 4Interpret the Reminder in Long Division Word ProblemsStudents will learn how to interpret and use remainders in the context of word problems, understanding when to round up, round down, or use the remainder as part of the final answer.

Throughout my career, I taught various grade levels from 3rd grade to 7th grade students. Math is one of my favorite things to teach to all levels of students.
Learnerswill need: 🧙🏻pencil 🧙🏻notebook or paper 🧙🏻printed worksheets (optional). They will be posted digitally.

We will be using Blooket as our independent practice. Students do not need an account to play. We will also use various other online tools such as Google Sheets, Google Forms, and Kahoot to practice long division.
We will use websites and sources over the course of this workshop such as Kahoot, Blooket, and teacher-made resources.
