Fun and bubbly teacher promotes laughter and encourages quick thinking. I will teach you some techniques that will help you to "velcro" details from reading to your brain. Not everything that you read is important actually. In fact, there are ways to skip around in the reading, find your details, and be done with it. I will teach you all of the techniques I know. Class uses Treasure Island by Robert Louis Stevenson. I would suggest having a paper or digital copy. A free kindle version is available here: http://www.gutenberg.org/ebooks/120 I am using a used copy in class. The book is available for free here: http://www.gutenberg.org/ebooks/120 The kindle version has the nicest formatting. You will need paper of some sort, a pencil, a good eraser, and some kind of coloring utensil such as a colored pencil. Dollar stores have great erasers! You may want to keep your classwork items in an organizer of some kind.
