In this fun pre-algebra level math class, learners in the 6th, 7th, and 8th grade will solve simple algebraic equations while playing fun virtual games. This course uses both Nearpod and Blooket to deliver activities and lessons. Interaction in this flex class: 1. For each lesson the teacher will share a short video on solving for "x" in simple algebraic equations, such as 4x=12, 3+x=22, x-21=4, and x/2=7. 2. For each lesson the teacher will share a variety of games to play. 3. For each lesson learners will be prompted to share screenshot of the leaderboard and their position on it. 4. During lesson one and two, learners will be asked to design their own worksheet. 5. Each lesson will have a virtual matching game. 6. The teacher will provide a worksheet for each lesson and will provide feedback for learners that submit the worksheet for review. Week 1: Solving for X Addition Equations Week 2: Solving for X Subtraction Equations Week 3: Solving for X Multiplication Equations Week 4: Solving for X Division Equations
