⭐This a one-time self-paced class. There will be no live meetings. In this class, students will learn how to use oil pastels to create a Kitty Cat design! Designed with beginners in mind, this pre-recorded video class is suitable for ages 5-8. The teaching process used for this class is a step-by-step method that will inspire students into creative action! This process involves observing, following instructions, and creating until each student is happy with the outcome. Students will learn basic oil pastel techniques and apply these techniques to complete this project. This art class is designed to give beginner artists the skills they need to jump-start their artistic journey into self-expression, reflection, and creative thinking. Supplies and materials needed for this class: +black paper (card stock or construction paper works great!) +set of oil pastels +paper towel Total time needed for students to complete this project is approximately 40 minutes. This is a self-paced video class where students may proceed through the art lesson at their own pace. Video may be paused at any time. There will be no live meetings, however, I will be available for questions and gentle encouragement. It is important to me that your learner's experience is a positive one. My teaching style is relaxed, supportive, joyful, and fun. I encourage students to add their own details to their masterpiece to make it their own. I'm open to any comments, questions, or feedback that you may have.

Draw a Kitty Cat Design with Oil Pastels
In this oil pastel Kitty Cat class, we will discuss the art supplies needed for this project. With a white oil pastel, we will combine shapes & lines to create a Kitty Cat drawing. We will review composition and placement of shapes and lines on our sheet of paper. Once our Kitty Cat drawing is complete, we will apply oil pastels to our design. We will discuss the application of oil pastels, blending techniques, and ways to add detail and interest while outlining the design with black oil pastel. 14 分鐘的影片課程
