課堂經歷
This is a fun, group time experience for dinosaur enthusiasts. I will guide learners as we sing, move like dinosaurs and learn fun facts. I will send each student a dinosaur coloring page, to bring to class. When class starts we will have introductions, learn fun facts and sing songs that include counting and movement. Don't worry, we will also have time to practice the pronunciations of those tricky dinosaur names. Then, I will read a story as students color their dinosaur picture. The last part of class we will talk about the story and take turns participating in a group discussion. If you have a toy dinosaur at home that you would love to share, bring it along.

Hello! I am a teacher with over 20+ years experience. My background is multi-faceted. I have experience in classroom settings which include Pre-K, K-3, Special Education and Home Schooling. I also have over 5 years of one on one, on-line teaching experience with English Language Learners. I have gained experience in teaching children from ages 3 to 14 while in these environments. I have a passion for teaching and enjoy incorporating creativity, humor and flexibility into the classroom. I have patience and a gentle demeanor. I strongly believe that children learn by playing/doing and I offer engaging and hands on opportunities for learning. I earned my B.A. in Social Science/Child Development, my M.A. in Special Education and I have a TESOL certificate. I also stayed home while my children were young and ran a small home school pod for preschoolers though first grade. I enjoy reading, cooking and spending time outdoors with my family.
