Learners will be able to understand how to "mark up the text" and take responsibiltiy for their learning. They will be able to comprehend a text and answer questions while exploring new vocabulary. They will also understand how to determine the main idea of paragraphs, visualization, and summarization of a passage.

Students may be given a different passage for homework to practice each close read session. The homework will take no more than 30 minutes and will be submitted via the classroom page so that the teacher can provide them specific feedback.0 - 1 每週課外時間
