Students will learn the basics of using Canva's interface and tools to create effective YouTube thumbnail images. We will cover: - Introduction to Canva and its features - Design principles for eye-catching thumbnails - Layout techniques and composition - Selecting and integrating graphics and text - Tips for making thumbnails stand out in YouTube searches The class will be structured into a one-hour session, beginning with an introduction to Canva, followed by a step-by-step tutorial on creating a YouTube thumbnail. The students apply what they've learned by creating their own graphic youtube thumbail. My teaching style is fun and interactive, focusing on practical, hands-on learning. I emphasize creativity and encourage students to experiment with their designs. The class includes interactive discussions, Q&A time and collaborative activities where they can all share their own ideas. Students will have the opportunity to share their designs and provide feedback to each other, fostering a supportive learning environment.
