In this one time class students will have a chance to go back in time to explore the history of halloween costume design and get the opportunity to design their own costumes. Together as a group we will review a short slideshow filled with popular costumes for children of Halloween past. Together as a group, we will draw a figure using step by step instruction, explore proportion with shapes and line. Then, once we have created a figure drawing together, students will sketch a costume....
Watercolor paper pencil eraser watercolor paints (or something to color with) brushes water
This class will explore age appropriate themes of Halloween. Violence and gore will not be encouraged or tolerated during class discussion.
