後裔主題舞蹈營

This multi-day camp will teach students a dance routine to a song from one of Disney's "Descendants" soundtracks. With step-by-step instruction, students will learn a combination of jazz and hip-hop dance. Students will also learn the fundamentals of acting and emoting that is needed to take their performance to the next level. Dressing up in a Descendants' costume or gear is encouraged! While learning the choreography I will teach each student how to express themselves through the music and character(s) in the song. Students will also learn about dance skills such as pirouettes, sautes, jazz walks, ball changes, etc. By the end of the multi-day camp, students will have a full routine to a Descendants' song to practice and perform outside of class! This camp is easy, fun, and interesting enough for all skill levels to enjoy!

Day One:
Stretches and warm-up
Emoting exercise
Technique training on sautes
Choreography - learn 1/3 of dance routine
Cool Down Chat (includes a review of the lesson, Descendants trivia & games, and/or stretching with music)

Day Two:
Stretches and warm-up
Emoting exercise
Technique training on pirouettes and/or jazz walks
Choreography - continue learning routine
Cool Down Chat (includes a review of the lesson, Descendants trivia & games, and/or stretching with music)

Day Three:
Stretches and warm-up
Emoting exercise
Work/build on improvisation skills
Choreography - finish up on routine & review
Cool Down Chat (includes a review of the lesson, Descendants trivia & games, and/or stretching with music)

This class is based on original choreography that I created myself, inspired by the films.
