課堂經歷
In this class learners will take on the role as Pokemon Trainers and through their choices and decisions live out the adventures of a typical character in the pokemon universe! We will use a custom TTRPG system similar to Dungeons and Dragons to play the game and I will share the details of how this works will the players as the join. Each week we will undertake new adventures, explore new areas, challenge gym leaders, and raise and train their pokemon to be the very best, like no one ever was! You may join at any time, we will catch you up to speed! I will provide character sheets for your learner to use, they just need to pick a few options for what kind of pokemon trainer they want to be! During class the students will get to portray the actions their pokemon trainer takes, train and instruct pokemon to help them overcome challenges, explore new locations, and solve puzzles together with their friends! During class we may share maps or images of pokemon to help with the sense of emersion and the students will roll dice (two six sided dice) to help resolve the mechanics of the game. Remember you can join or leave and return at any time! Our quest is very flexible and accommodating to new players. If we need to review certain rules we can quickly and easily do so, ensuring that all learners have a good experience! Because D&D is a collaborative adventure I will only run this class if we have at least 2 learners enrolled to begin.

There is combat, magic, and occasional violence within the game. Some situations may become stressful for certain learners. With my style of GMing I tend to keep most of the story light and fun, but adding tension and conflict create wonderful story telling moments for learners to explore and experiment with how to deal with these situations in a variety of ways. I also promise that even when things seem desperate and that fighting is the only option, crafty players may find a clever solution or work around even to the most dire of situations!

By signing up for this class/D&D campaign you agree to the rules. Any rule breaking can result in learners getting put into the waiting room to reread the rules. These rules are in addition to all Outschool rules.
This is a cooperative RPG. Success is not determined by an individual feat, but rather the group as a whole.

Roll a Die Website
Roll a Die Website may be used to roll two six-sided dice as part of the game for our class. You do not need to sign up, enroll or do anything extra to use this resource and you may skip using it all together if you learner uses a physical dice. If you want a physical dice and don't have one many local game stores have tons of individual dice available for purchase for just a dollar or two. The best part is your student may be able to pick out a very special colorful dice that they like!
